Turkish FM extends condolences to Egyptian counterpart over ISIL church attacks

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on April 10 extended his condolences to Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, over two Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) church attacks in the country in a phone call, marking a rare diplomatic interaction between the two countries since relations soured after the ouster of Mohamad Morsi in 2013.

Dacic, Egyptian ambassador discuss cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Thursday received Egypt's Ambassador to Belgrade, Ezzeldin Fahmy.

They discussed ways of improving bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, in particular, current issues in multilateral diplomacy and cooperation in the UN and its agencies, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Iraq, Egypt to attend Syria talks in Vienna on Oct. 30

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Iraq's Deputy Foreign Minister Nazar al-Khairalla will attend international talks on the Syrian crisis taking place on Oct. 30 in Vienna.

Iran, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's closest regional ally, is also expected to attend following a request from Moscow for wider participation.
