Mobile phone subscribers reach 93 million
The total number of mobile phone subscribers in Türkiye was 92.8 million in the third quarter of 2023, corresponding to a 108.8 penetration rate, according to a report by the telecommunication watchdog BTK.

Turkcell to invest $240 mln in renewables
Türkiye's leading mobile operator Turkcell plans to invest $240 million in renewable energy, said Murat Erkan, the company's General Manager.
The company's solar energy power plants with a total installed capacity of 300 MW will come online in the next three years, according to Erkan.

Russian art show in Paris hits near record visitors
An exhibition of masterpieces owned by a Russian art collector has attracted a near-record number of visitors in Paris, but the war in Ukraine may make it the last of its kind for a while.
The "Morozov Collection," which includes works by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Matisse and Monet, clocked up 1.25 million visitors at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, the center said on April 11.
BP, Equinor exiting stakes in Rosneft
British energy giant BP announced on Feb. 27 that it was pulling its 19.75-percent stake in Rosneft following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
London-based BP has held a 19.75 percent stake in Rosneft since 2013. That stake was valued at $14 billion at the time of the announcement.

New Turkcell CEO reassures confidence in shares
