World-famous Spanish guitar virtuoso and composer Cañizares will meet with his Turkish fans on stage tonight at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall.

A show adapted for the stage from Miguel de Cervantes' immortal piece "Don Quixote" will meet with the audience on Oct. 16 at Istanbul's Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall with the performance by Spanish José Huertas Flamenco Ensemble.

Describing Don Quixote's emotional world with music and costumes reflecting Spanish folklore, the show will be staged for the first time in Turkey.

Music and dance as a healing balm for pandemic-weary souls is what Spain's Joaquin Cortes had in mind for his new show that opens this Christmas ahead of a global tour.

After a year away from the stage, the legendary flamenco artist who has been dancing for nearly four decades, returns to the spotlight on December 23 when his new show debuts at Madrid's WiZink auditorium.

Spaniard Daniel Casares has been making his music for over 25 years and has eight albums behind him.
Casares fought for the throne of the new flamenco king through a unique sound in his interpretation, restoring classic but also undoubted traces of his role models, such as Paco de Lucia, Manolo Sanlucar, Tomatito and Gerardo Nunez.

The Embassy of Spain in Bulgaria and the Instituto Cervantes- Sofía, will hold a concert of the flamenco pianist Rosario Montoya, which will take place on Saturday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Art Gallery of Sofia (1 General Gurko str.).

The 36th International Ankara Music Festival will take place between April 4 and 25 this year with the organization of the Sevda-Cenap and Music Foundation. One of the guests of the event, Spanish pianist Manolo Carrasco will be on the stage with his "Sounds from Spain" flamenco show, which is like a musical journey from 19th century to present, on April 12 at MEB Şura Hall.

Renowned for flamenco compositions and performances influenced by Claude Debussy and modern jazz, David Pena Dorantes, a Romani pianist and composer from Andalusia, will perform at the Parnassos Literary Society on Monday, March 18. The performance starts at 8 p.m.

Istanbul's İş Sanat ends their 18th season on May 22 with legendary dancer Jose Antonio Ruiz, who is one of the most important figures in flamenco. 

The award-winning star of flamenco, Spanish star Rafael Amargo, will be on the stage at the 34th International Ankara Music Festival on April 22 with his show "Intimo." 

Expressing his pleasure at being in Turkey to perform, Amargo says he feels very comfortable in Turkey. 

Los Vivancos, which consists of seven brothers known as the princes of Flamenco, will take the stage in Istanbul once again, with their newest show "Born to Dance" that premiered in April in Madrid.

In the show, the brothers dance to many popular songs from artists such as Metallica, Deep Purple and Leonard Cohen.
