Golden Dawn leader at his trial gives Nazi salute in court,denies link to Fyssas murder
Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos testifying in the Athens appellate court today said he had no involvement in the murder of anti-fascist rapper by Yorgos Roupakias whom he described as a lone ranger who killed Pavlos Fyssas of his own volition and that he was informed of the event the next day.
Michaloliakos takes the stand in Golden Dawn trial
More than four years since the launch of the criminal trial against Greece's neofascist Golden Dawn, party leader and founder Nikos Michaloliakos took the stand for the first time on Wednesday.
In his testimony, Michaloliakos denied charges of running a criminal organization that targeted migrants and leftists, denouncing the accusations as fake and politically-motivated.

Assailants attack Golden Dawn offices in central Athens
Unidentified assailants attacked the offices of neofascist Golden Dawn party near Athens' central Larissis railway station with gas canisters.
The attack, which took place at around 2.30 a.m. on Friday, caused minor damage but no injuries.
Golden Dawn’s number two denies party’s Nazi ideology
The political trial of the extreme-right Golden Dawn continued Tuesday, with Christos Pappas, the party's number two, declaring that his "conscience is clear" and dismissing an old photograph of him and his young son performing the Nazi salute, saying they were "having a laugh."
Golden Dawn defendants deny Nazi links
Two former lawmakers of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn denied on Thursday that they or the party had any links to Nazism or hate speech.
The two men, Artemis Matthaiopoulos and Dimitris Koukoutsis, testified in the ongoing trial of Golden Dawn's party leaders, who are accused of running a criminal organization.

Ex-MP Kasidiaris testifies in GD trial
The trial of neofascist Golden Dawn party continued Wednesday with the testimony of former MP Ilias Kasidiaris. The former GD spokesman, who currently serves as a member of Athens city council, denounced charges of operating a criminal organization, as being politically motivated.

The endless transformation of evil
"I was elected as a deputy in 2012 by the Greek people. How could the Greek people possibly elect the leaders of a criminal organization?" Eleni Zaroulia, the wife of Golden Dawn chief Nikos Michaloliakos, told judges during her testimony last week.

Former Golden Dawn MP denies being a neo-Nazi
The first of some 18 former lawmakers belonging to the extreme-right Golden Dawn party to take the stand in the final phase of a trial which began in 2015 claimed on Wednesday that he is not a neo-Nazi but a Greek nationalist who despises Germans.

GD leadership to begin testimonies on Tuesday
Some 18 former lawmakers of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party are set to take the stand on Tuesday in what is the final phase of the trial which began in 2015 and is now entering the final straight.
Their testimonies will be the last after almost 400 days of hearings, during which hardly any of them appeared in court.
