A movie is due to be shot at Tokat Castle, Turkey?s second-largest castle in the northern province of Tokat, where it is claimed that Wallachian Prince Vlad III ?The Impaler,? also known as Dracula, was held captive in one of the the castle?s dungeons in the early 15th century.

Hidden tunnel near 'Dracula's dungeon' opened in northern Turkey
The first 30 meters of a hidden tunnel, near what was described by a Turkish expert as "Dracula's dungeon," has been opened in northern Turkey after it was discovered during restoration work on Tokat Castle.
Hidden tunnel partially opened in northern Turkey
The first 30 meters of a hidden tunnel, known as Ceylanyolu, which was discovered during restoration work on Tokat Castle in the northern Anatolian province of Tokat, has been opened. The tunnel is estimated to be 350 meters long.
Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Abdurrahman Akyüz said they were excited to find the end of the hidden tunnel.

Works have started to open a secret tunnel, known as Ceylanyolu, that was discovered during restoration works on Tokat Castle in the northern Anatolian province of Tokat.
Dracula sculpture to be placed in his 'Turkish dungeon'
A sculpture of Wallachian Prince Vlad III the Impaler, also known as Count Dracula, will be made and placed in a dungeon at the castle where he was claimed to have been kept in captivity in the central Anatolian province of Tokat, according to the Tokat City Council President Abdullah Gürbüz.
Secret tunnel in Dracula’s castle to open to tourism
A secret tunnel that has been discovered during restoration work under Tokat Castle, Turkeyâs second-largest castle in the northern province of Tokat, will be opened to tourism. The tunnel, known as Ceylanyolu, is claimed to have been used by a Roman kingâs daughters in order to go to the Pervane bath in the Ãanakçı stream area.
