67 hooligans charged with 28 offences
A prosecutor has charged 67 Olympiakos club hooligans, arrested on Monday for their involvement in the fatal injury of the riot policeman Giorgos Lygeridis, with 28 charges, including 12 felonies.
Thirty-one-year-old Lygeridis was struck by a naval flare last December outside a stadium during a volleyball match in Athens. He later died from his injuries.

Hooligans linked to officer’s death brought before prosecutor
Sixty-seven Olympiakos club hooligans arrested for their involvement in the fatal injury of the riot policeman Giorgos Lygeridis and in at least 14 more cases appeared before a prosecutor on Tuesday.
Thirty-one-year-old Lygeridis was fatally struck by a naval flare last December outside a stadium during a volleyball match in Athens.

A number of PAOK soccer fans were detained on Monday night in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, for violating restrictive measures on movement, after dozens gathered outside their team's stadium to celebrate the club's 94th anniversary.
Officers who arrived outside the stadium urged fans who were chanting slogans to disperse, but were ignored.

Three arrested over Bulgarian soccer fan’s death in Thessaloniki
Police in the northern port city of Thessaloniki placed three suspects under arrest on Monday in connection with the death the previous night of a 28-year-old Bulgarian man following clashes between rival soccer club fans.
