Ex-Bosnian Serb Commander Denies Knowing ‘Villagers Would Be Deported’
Jovan Novakovic told the Belgrade Higher Court on Friday that when he evacuated locals from the Bosniak village of Suha near Bratunac in spring 1992, he did not know they were about to be deported.

"There's been no helicopter crash in eastern Bosnia"
According to media reports, there had instead been "a malfunction on the (electric power) transmission lines" in the area.
Earlier on Monday, the locals reported to the police that "at around 12.30 pm, a helicopter crashed in the area of Bratunac in inaccessible terrain."

Serbs killed in eastern Bosnia on Christmas Day remembered
The 23rd anniversary of the murder of Serb civilians in Kravica near Bratunac in eastern Bosnia was marked on Tuesday.
A church service for all 158 victims from this town and the nearby villages was also served today, while candles were lit at a memorial site in Kravice.

BANJALUKA - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic and Republika Srpska's (RS) Construction Minister Srebrenka Golic announced in Banjaluka on Thursday that the representatives of Serbian and RS construction sectors will meet in Belgrade in November to discuss the possibility of joint bidding in the local and international markets.
