PSG beat Başakşehir to win Champions League group
French football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) hammered Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir 5-1 in Dec. 9's UEFA Champions League match to win Group H.
PSG drew the first blood at their home Parc des Princes.
In the 21st minute, Brazilian superstar Neymar sent a curling shot outside the area to beat Başakşehir goalkeeper Mert Gunok.

Ronaldinho arrested in Paraguay in false passport case
Soccer star Ronaldinho was arrested on March 6 night in a hotel in Paraguay's capital after authorities said he entered the country with falsified documents.
The 39-year-old Brazilian and his brother, Roberto Assis, were taken to a police station in Asunción shortly before 10 p.m. local time, Paraguay's prosecutors office said in a statement.
Liverpool beat Man City to extend lead on top
Liverpool increased English Premier League lead following 3-1 win against Manchester City.
Liverpool had the 3-0 lead at the Anfield Stadium as Brazilian defensive midfielder Fabinho scored an early opener.
The Reds' Egyptian star Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 in the 13th minute.
