In celebration of mother’s day in the UK, and in hopes of raising awareness around the social stigmas of breastfeeding, a london-based creative agency added a surprising, oversized breast to the streets of shoreditch. as part of its #freethefeed campaign, mother topped an ordinary brick building in the east london district with an enormous, inflatable breast-shaped balloon.

Now research revealed that exercise helps people battling the fatigue caused by cancer and by its treatment — and usually does it better than drugs do. Karen Mustian of the University of Rochester Medical Centre and colleagues looked through all the studies they could find on the various ways to help cancer patients get their energy back.

Company fires, then rehires single mom ill with cancer

A worker ill with cancer who was told over the phone that her contract would not be extended will be offered a new contract by the Nis-based Yura factory.

The woman, Violeta Petrovic, found out that her 18-month limited time contract with the Korean company which expired on November 30 would not be extended while she was on sick leave, battling breast cancer.

A woman from Greece named Christina gave a whole new dimension to this trend, by posting a photo of her breast after a mastectomy. Her goal was to raise awareness among women.

Liverpool uni women’s team releases naked benefit calendar! (Hot pics)

A naked calendar was launched by the Liverpool university’s women’s rugby team aimed at raising money for a good cause. The calendars were sold at Coppafeel – a charity that teaches women to check their breasts regularly to detect cancer in the early stages.

#HoldACokeWithYourBoobs challenge raises breast cancer awareness

Last summer, the “Ice Bucket Challenge” became a sensation in social media and raised awareness for ALS. Anonymous and celebrities uploaded their clips where they got showered with a bucket of ice water, thus duplicating the feeling that an ALS patient feels in order to raise awareness.
