"From Friday onward, when the package of measures we have taken to deal with soaring prices will be implemented in its entirety, we will see prices that are up to 15% lower in important product categories.

Government unveils ‘drastic measures’ to combat ‘unfair trade practices’
Development Minister Kostas Skrekas presented four "drastic measures" on Wednesday aimed at addressing "unfair trade practices" in an effort to curb soaring prices. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had previously outlined these measures.
Nicosia to expand list with 0% VAT
Almost two weeks after the zeroing of the tax rate on seven products (bread, eggs, milk, baby diapers, baby food, feminine hygiene products, and adult diapers) in Cyprus, the island's ministries of Finance and of Commerce are in discussions regarding the next list of products that will have a low or reduced tax rate.

Thousands of refugees back out in the cold

The aid was distributed by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in cooperation with the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity (UTSS).
Dangerous Chemicals Found in Diapers in France
France's national health agency Anses says it has found chemicals in babies' nappies that exceed safety levels, reported BBC.
Tests found levels above safety thresholds for substances potentially dangerous to human health, and lower levels of others including the controversial weedkiller glyphosate.
Anses said its nappy tests were the first of their kind in the world.

Family in Turkey's Manisa adopts motherless 15-day-old lamb
A family living in the western province of Manisa has adopted a 15-day-old lamb after its mother died, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
The Karaca family is looking after the young lamb like a baby, feeding it with a baby's bottle and using diapers in their apartment in Manisa's Şehzadeler district.
