Greece is Preparing to Double the toll from Kulata to Thessaloniki
Greece is preparing to double the amount of road toll for the segment from the Kulata-Promahon CPS to Thessaloniki, the Bulgarian News Agency reported.
Human traffickers hid 14 migrants in roof of their truck
Two Bulgarian nationals faced a prosecutor in Rhodopi, northern Greece, Wednesday on charges of attempting to smuggle undocumented migrants into the country after authorities found 14 people hidden in a special compartment in the roof of their truck.
Ten new tollgates in the works
The government has announced the construction of 10 new toll stations on the Egnatia Highway that crosses northern Greece.
According to Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Infrastructure Minister Christos Spirtzis, four of the stations should be in operation by the end of August while the remaining six will come into use by the November 1.

Snow, rain cause problems in northern Greece, Peloponnese

Man killed in flood in Corinth, bringing toll to five

A 30-year-old man died early Saturday when the car he had been driving was swept into a swollen stream in the village of Vrysoules near the town of Corinth.
