Foundation of ‘Lydia,’ the first private aerodrome for general aviation
The first privately owned aerodrome for general aviation in Greece was founded on Tuesday near Kavala, in East Macedonia, in the presence of Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Christina Alexopoulou.
Military airspace control centre gets new premises
A new underground facility and operations room were inaugurated at the military section of Ljubljana airport on 12 July to make the facility comparable to those in other NATO countries.
Under Slovenia's defence law, the country's airspace is monitored and protected by the military. The centre monitors and controls the airspace 24/7.

Turkey says yes to Hague but on all issues
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Monday that all existing issues between Athens and Ankara should be referred to an international court, but "as a whole," and warned that otherwise the existing thaw in bilateral relations may not last. In an interview with A Haber TV, Cavusoglu specifically argued for a "package solution to all issues."

Turkey condemns Germany for statements over dispute with Greece
Turkish foreign ministry "strongly condemned and rejected the unfounded" statements made by the German Chancellery against Turkey.
"Instead of making biased statements that do not comply with the spirit of the Alliance, we expect Germany to invite Greece to act in accordance with international treaties," Foreign Minister Spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç said.

Bulgaria allowed a Russian plane to Fly through its Airspace
An official representative of the Bulgarian government confirmed to BGNES Media that a Russian government plane was flying through Bulgarian airspace.
The source clarified that it was a permitted flight by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which had a humanitarian purpose - to pick up Russian diplomats.

Bulgaria introduces a ban on the take-off/landing and entry of Russian aircraft into the country's airspace.
All aircraft with a license issued by the Russian Federation may not enter the sovereign airspace of the Republic of Bulgaria, including the airspace over territorial waters.
The ban is in force from 00.00 on February 26, 2022.
