Foo Fighters debut new song at Athens show [Video]

Iconic American alt-rock band Foo Fighters premiered a new song titled "Arrows" at an invitation-only concert in Athens's Roman-era Herod Atticus Theater on Monday night.

The concert in the Greek capital was the final date in the band's European tour and was filmed for the popular PBS TV series "Landmarks Live in Concert," which is hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

People with HIV report 'dramatic' reagent deficit

The association representing people living with HIV, the virus which causes AIDS, in Greece have written to Health Minister Andreas Xanthos to complain about major shortages in the reagents used in HIV/AIDS tests.

In its second letter to Zervos in the past few months, the association, Positive Voice, described the situation as "dramatic" and appealed to the minister to intervene.

AIDS is not over

Four years ago optimism was high that AIDS was in retreat, and could ultimately be eradicated. Back then the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) was boldly predicting "the end of AIDS by 2030." Nobody is feeling so optimistic now.

Magazine ‘National Enquirer’ reports that Prince could have been suffering from AIDS. The magazine claims Prince had been diagnosed with AIDS six months ago but refused to take medication reportedly saying he was going to battle the disease through prayer.
