Istanbul to host Diaspora International Short Film Festival
The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) will hold the Diaspora International Short Film Festival in Istanbul for the first time on Aug. 27-29, according to the event's website.
Anadolu Agency is the global communication partner of the festival that will be held at the Atlas Cinema on Istiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district.

Restoration of iconic movie theater nears completion, set to open in 2021
A historic movie theater on Istanbul's iconic İstiklal Avenue is scheduled to meet the public eye in the first months of 2021 as the ongoing restoration works at the theatre are close to completion.
The exhibition and arrangement work in the building has come to an end with the completion of the renovations, according to the daily Hürriyet.
