Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who is currently visiting Canada, has repeated that Serbia wants to "move toward the EU."
However, he has warned that there were "many problems" on that road.

"West not seeking to change Kosovo talks format" - FM
Ivica Dacic on Friday denied claims that "someone in the West" was seeking a change in the format of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
The Serbian foreign minister and first deputy prime minister also "reiterated that Belgrade was expecting it to resume but that it would not consent to topics outside the framework of status neutrality," Tanjug has reported.
Olympic medalists receive diplomatic passports
Ivica Dacic on Thursday ceremonially awarded diplomatic passports to Serbian Olympic medalists in individual events at the London and Rio Games.
The foreign minister thus made them goodwill ambassadors, Tanjug reported.

FM comments on arrest of Serbians in Montenegro
Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says Serbia has nothing to do with the case of the arrest of Serbian citizens in Montenegro.
Among those arrested was the former commander of the Gendarmerie Bratislav Dikic.

Serbian government proposes scrapping of visas with China
The Serbian government decided on Sunday to propose to China a mutual scrapping of visas.
At a government session held in Nis late Sunday, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and Chinese Ambassador Li Manchang agreed it was a historic day for Serbia and China.
Dačić: Lavrov scheduled for a visit, Medvedev not
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić announced that his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to visit Serbia mid-December.
“To be clear, this visit was never even scheduled, but instead it was only unofficially announced,” Dačić tells Novosti.

Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs Miro Kovač assessed that the statement Ivica Dačić gave on Pope Francis’s denouncement was taken out of context.
As he says, Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs interpreted Pope’s statement in an “unacceptable and inappropriate way”.
