Turkish Coast Guard teams rescued at least 72 asylum seekers on May 25 from four boats in the Aegean Sea.
Acting on a tip-off, the rescue team reached out to the asylum seekers, who were on board inflatable boats that were forced into Turkish territorial waters by the Greek Coast Guard.

Bergama Stereotip by Cevdet Erek at Arter
Cevdet Erek's solo exhibition "Bergama Stereotip" opened on Feb. 26 at Istanbul's Arter Gallery, consisting of a sounding architecture conceived for the gallery space.
Curated by Selen Ansen, the exhibition takes the architecture and odyssey of the historical Great Altar of Pergamon as point of reference and reinterprets it.

Over 100,000 liters of smuggled fuel seized in Turkey
Some 107,300 liters (around 28,345 gallons) of smuggled fuel were seized in an operation held in western Turkey, according to security sources on Jan. 13.
Acting on a tip-off, the provincial police department launched an operation in the Bornova district of Izmir, the source said on condition of anonymity due to restriction on talking to the media.
