Opening today, Anna Laudel Istanbul gallery presents Bilal Hakan Karakaya's solo exhibition "Invisible Cities."

Named after the well-known novel Italo Calvino, Karakaya focuses on the rising mega structures in metropolitan life and emphasizes how desolate and unrecognizable the modern cities have become through the art of sculpture.

In a bid to detect illegal substances or objects that could endanger the safety of a patient or a doctor, "door security systems" has begun to be installed in hospitals, the Health Ministry has announced.

In a new exhibition that opened on Jan. 30, Istanbul's Anna Laudel Gallery presents "Earthly Realm" by acclaimed sculptor Bilal Hakan Karakaya. Karakaya is renowned for his unique technique of using different materials, pushing the boundaries of traditional sculpture production.

Anna Laudel Contemporary has brought together a selection of works from nine artists using different mediums including painting, sculpture, photograph, installation and collage, in its latest exhibition "Rooms & Walls."

The 15th International Music Festival, organized in the southern province of Mersin, will bring together stars from Turkey and abroad in the city's historic places between May 2 and 28. 

The festival program was launched at a ceremony on April 6.
