Turkish defense companies will attend Defense Services Asia, held in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur between April 16 and 19, the Turkish defense body said on April 15.

The total number of passengers carried by Turkish Airlines rose by 28.5 percent in the first quarter of 2018 compared with the same period last year, the airline stated on April 10.

An American company has proposed to continue the search for an MH370, which was halted earlier this year, giving new hope to the families of the missing, reported BGNES. 

This was confirmed by the firm and a Malaysian minister  on Thursday, offering new hope to families of the missing.

Turkish Airlines has started a new project titled "Fly Good Feel Good" on healthy eating and lifestyle in collaboration with the world-famous heart surgeon, Dr. Mehmet Oz, the airline announced on July 24.

The number of passengers Turkish Airlines carried in the first half of the year has hit 30.3 million people -- the highest ever, according to a statement released by the airline on July 11.        

The national flag carrier said this year's number of customers in June rose by 13.5 percent, reaching 5.7 million, compared with the same period in 2016.
