The recently concluded three-day "Surva" festival witnessed an impressive turnout of more than 12,000 participants, surpassing all expectations, announced Deputy Mayor of Pernik, Stefan Krastev. The 30th International Festival of Masquerade Games "Surva" 2024 concluded with festive illuminations and a captivating folklore show, leaving attendees with lasting memories.

For three exciting days, beginning today and culminating on Sunday, Pernik hosts the prestigious International Festival of Masquerade Games, "Surva," celebrating its 30th anniversary. The festival brings together traditional masquerade customs and games from Bulgaria and beyond, with over 10,000 participants showcasing their artistry.

The 25th edition of the international festival of masquerade games Surva will take place in the Bulgarian city of Pernik between Friday and Sunday.

A total of 110 groups with a record number of 6400 participants are expected to attend the festival.
