Lavrov's visit canceled? Russia's MFA: "Our diplomacy has not mastered teleportation"

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's visit to Serbia has been cancelled after countries around Serbia closed their airspace to his aircraft, a senior foreign ministry source told the Interfax news agency on Sunday.
"Those reports are accurate," a high-ranking source in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Interfax today.

Turkey's air force pulls out of military exercise in Athens

Turkey's air force has pulled out of a military exercise scheduled to be held in Greece next month, security sources said on April 30 saying that preparatory documents singled out Ankara.

The military exercise dubbed "Tiger Meet" is intended to promote solidarity between the participating states' fleets and is held annually.

Bulgaria to Maintain Block on North Macedonia’s Path to EU: Minister

Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska told media on Tuesday evening that "Bulgaria's position remains unchanged" and that Sofia will continue to block the start of North Macedonia's EU accession talks until its demands are met.

Her comments came in response to Bulgaria media citing German Foreign Affairs Minister Annalena Baerbock that Genchovska had promised the veto will be lifted.

Baltic states stop Russian gas imports     

The head of Latvia's natural gas storage operator has said the Baltic states were no longer importing Russian natural gas.    

"If there were still any doubts about whether there may be any trust in deliveries from Russia, current events clearly show us that there is no more trust," said Uldis Bariss, CEO of Conexus Baltic Grid on April 2.
