Erdoğan met with Hariri at Vahdettin Palace in Istanbul after attending a groundbreaking ceremony. The meeting was held closed-doors and no details of the meeting were made available.

Lebanon to inject dollars as currency plunge revives protest
Hundreds protested for a second night to decry Lebanese authorities' handling of a deepening economic crisis, despite the government pledging on June 12 to inject dollars into the market to bolster the sagging currency.
Near a protest square in central Beirut, around 200 young men drove in on mopeds and defaced shop fronts, setting fire to several stores, an AFP correspondent said.
Greek FM Dendias holds talks in Beirut
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias was expected in Lebanon on Wednesday for talks with the country's political leaders in Beirut.

Dozens injured in clash with security forces in Lebanon
Dozens of protestors were injured in Lebanon's capital on Dec. 20 as security forces fired tear gas to disperse anti-government demonstrators.
Injuries occurred as protestors clashed with security forces trying to open blocked roads to traffic in the Corniche el Mazraa area of Beirut.

Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos will pay an official two-day visit to Lebanon on Thursday and Friday at the invitation of his counterpart, Michel Aoun.
Pavlopoulos is scheduled to have a private meeting with the Aoun on Thursday at 11.50 a.m. which will be followed by a joint press conference.
