Zarrab indictment expanded to include Turkey as 'crime scene'

An indictment for Reza Zarrab, an Iranian-born Turkish businessman who was arrested in Miami a month ago over attempting to evade U.S. sanctions on Iran, has expanded from New York to include "Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere" as places where the crime may have been committed. 

Greece to be the first EU country to buy crude oil from Iran since trade sanctions lifted

Hellenic Petroleum, Greece’s largest refinery, has struck a deal to buy oil from the National Iranian Oil Company in the first sale of Iranian crude oil to a European country since trade sanctions were lifted. The long-term agreement announced on Friday said that deliveries are to begin immediately.

100 billion barrels of oil in ground near London Gatwick: Company

An oil exploration firm said on April 9 that it had discovered 100 billion barrels of oil in the ground next to Gatwick Airport outside London.

Although only between three and 15 percent of the total is likely to be extractable, UK Oil & Gas Investments (UKOG) said the Horse Hill well in Surrey, southwest England, was a "world class potential resource".
