In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, the "Longed For Republic Ball" event will be held at the historic Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul, featuring the theme of the republic balls that became a symbol of modernization during the early years of the newly established country.

Botter Han, one of the remarkable architectural structures located on Istanbul's Istiklal Street and the first example of the art nouveau movement in the city, will be restored in line with an initiative taken by local authorities.

The 360 Degree Love Festival, which features various art disciplines, will be organized in Istanbul between Feb. 9 and 29 around the theme "World in Love." 

The 8th edition of the festival was launched at a press conference on Jan. 13. The curator of the festival, I??k Genço?lu, said they had started eight years ago as a small event and now hosted more than 100 artists. 

Istanbul's Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah is hosting the "Black Week" event in honor of the 125th anniversary of the birth of popular novelist Agatha Christie's birth, featuring a week of crime fiction-themed events.

The festival, which will continue until Oct 24, will include panel discussions at the historic hotel with local and international detective novelists.

One of the world?s oldest luxury hotels, the Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah in Istanbul, will host the ?Black Week Turkey? event on Oct. 22-24 in honor of Agatha Christie?s 125th birthday with the attendance of the famous author?s grandson and a number of leading crime fiction authors. 

Luxurious Gulf hotel chain Jumeirah Group will begin to run its second hotel in Turkey, the Golden Savoy Hotel, in May after the historic Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah.

The new hotel is planned to be opened on May 1 in the Aegean resort of Bodrum in line with a deal inked by the group with Turkey's Hedef Investment and Tourism Facilities.
