Richter 5.8M earthquake shakes Bucharest
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale occurred Saturday evening at 21:14 hrs in the Vrancea seismic region, having a 40-km deep epicenter - as per the estimations of honorary president of the National Institute for Earth Physics Gheorghe Marmureanu.

Quake readiness exercise on cards after tremors near Athens

Three minor earthquakes shook Turkey early on May 28 following last weekâs strong temblor in the Aegean Sea that has revived fears of seismic activity across the country.
A 4.5-magnitude quake occurred in the Saroz Gulf at a depth of 13.3 kilometers at 6:59 a.m., according to Istanbulâs Kandilli Observatory. It was felt in Ãanakkale and nearby towns.
