Bosnian Serbs Urge UN to Drop Srebrenica Resolution
A Bosnian Serb leader told the UN secretary-general that a planned Security Council resolution to mark the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacres would cause more divisions.
Bosnian presidency urged to take stand on Srebrenica draft
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has called on Bosnian Presidency chairman Mladen Ivanic to schedule a meeting of that body.
The purpose would be "to take a stand on the proposed resolution on Srebrenica," the president said during a news conference after a session of the governments of Serbia and the Serb entity in Bosnia, the Serb Republic (RS) in Belgrade on Friday.
Srebrenica commemoration could be postponed over Oric
Unless wartime commander of Muslims in Srebrenica Naser Oric has been released by June 30, the Srebrenica commemoration will be postponed.
This was confirmed by President of the Mothers of Srebrenica Association Hatidza Mehmedovic and by the organizing committee set up to mark this event, the Tanjug agency has reported.
