Chinese interested in manufacturing electric cars in Serbia
China's ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang announced on Tuesday that a Chinese company that wishes to open an electric car factory would soon arrive in Serbia.
Speaking in an army barracks in the town of Pancevo, where he presented a Chinese donation worth around EUR 900,000 to the Serbian Army, Li mentioned three large Chinese companies that will arrive here.
Driver buries his car after killing cyclist in hit-and-run
The police have arrested a resident of Bela Crkva, a town in northwestern Serbia, on suspicion that he killed a cyclist in a hit-and run.
The accident happened on Dupljaj-Grebenac road on October 27, with the cyclist dying instantly of his wounds.
Belgrade man rescues 29 people attempting to commit suicide
A 16-year-old girl was rescued from the Danube River in Belgrade on Friday after she attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the Pancevo Bridge.
The teenager was taken to the Emergency Center with head injuries.
Seven men arrested for assaulting citizens and police
The police in the town of Pancevo, northeast of Belgrade, have seven men under arrest for physically assaulting police officers.
The officers came under attack as they were responding to a report in Njegoseva St. in Pancevo, at 02:30 CET on October 16.

At least 16 injured as bus and truck collide
At least 16 persons were injured on Wednesday morning when a bus and a truck collided on the Pancevo-Kovin road in northeastern Serbia.
Belgrade-based Vecernje Novosti daily is reporting that the driver of the Jugoprevoz Kovin bus sustained serious injuries and was receiving treatment in a hospital in Pancevo.

12-year-old boy missing, feared kidnapped
Local media in Bela Crkva, a town near the Romanian border, have published footage reportedly showing the car used in the kidnapping of a missing boy.
The police have been looking for 12-year-old Stefan Ilic for almost two days.

ComiXconnection exhibition to be held in Pancevo
