SOCAR mulls hydrogen supply to Europe via TANAP
One-fifth of the pipeline capacity of the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) can be used to transport hydrogen to Europe without the need for further investments, Elshad Nasirov, vice president for investment and marketing at SOCAR, said during a virtual event late Tuesday.

Azerbaijan has started commercial natural gas supplies to Europe via the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), the energy ministry said on Thursday, beginning its push into the lucrative energy market dominated by Russia.
President Erdoğan hails benefits of TANAP pipeline
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan extolled the benefits of the Trans-Anatolia Natural Gas Pipeline Project in an article he wrote for the latest issue of The Diplomat magazine.
In the article "TANAP: Regional Development and Peace Project" published in collaboration with the New York Times, Erdoğan emphasized that TANAP is a regional peace project.

Bulgarian Energy Minister to Visit Azerbaijan
Bulgaria's Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova will visit Baku in February, Trend learned from a diplomatic source.
Petkova will attend the 5th meeting of the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor to be held on February 20 in Baku, noted the source.
The source added that Petkova will visit the country with a large delegation from Bulgaria.

TurkStream will be operational by end of 2019: Gazprom
