SAM names Misa Lukic manager of year
Misa Lukic, Publicis One's Regional Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe, has been named as "manager of the year."
The Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) made the choice, and presented the winners - who beside Lukic, include Veran Matic, Miodrag Kostic, Zivorad Vasic, and Vladan Zivanovic - with their awards during a gala evening event.

B92 and Albanian Daily News sign MoU
Serbia's B92 media outlet and the Albanian Daily News (ADN) newspaper from Albania have inked a memorandum of understanding.
The document was signed on Friday in Tirana by ADN Director General Anisa Skendaj and B92 President of the Board of Directors Veran Matic.

Albania's Edi Rama to Promote Book in Belgrade
Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is visiting Serbia to participate in business and security forums from October 13-14, will also present the Serbian translation of his book, "Sacrifice" on Thursday, in a Belgrade hotel.
According to Rama's publishing house in Serbia, Samizdat B92, the Albanian Prime Minister will also address a Belgrade audience.

Suspect arrested for sending death threats to journalists
Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic announced on Wednesday that a person has been arrested for threatening Brankica Stankovic and Veran Matic.
Stefanovic posted on Twitter that the suspect was detained for sending threatening messages via email to the editorial staff of the insajder.net website, led by Stankovic, and to B92's News Editor-in-Chief Veran Matic.
Insajder.net journalists receive death threats
The editorial staff of the insajder.net website, dedicated to investigative journalism, has received several death treats over the past week.
The death threats have been sent to the website's associates as well as to its editor-in-chief, Brankica Stankovic, and B92 News Editor-in-Chief Veran Matic - both of whom have been under around-the-clock police protection for years.

Man interviewed in connection with journalist murder case
After several years of waiting Serbian investigative organs have had the opportunity to interview, in Germany, Dragan Antic, formerly Tesic.
This was announced on Friday by Veran Matic, who heads a commission set up by the government to investigate murders of journalists in Serbia.
Preliminary probe over threats to Matic continues
The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade on February 23 took a statement from Veran Matic, B92 news editor in chief.
This took place as part of preliminary proceedings based on the criminal charges filed by the legal team of B92 after a large number of threats had been received by Matic.

Svilajnac municipality, B92 Fund sign cooperation protocol
Mayor of Svilajnac Predrag Milanovic and B92 Fund Board of Directors President Veran Matic have signed a protocol on cooperation.
The document signed on Monday will provide for the reconstruction of the building of the secondary school of mechanical engineering in Svilajnac, that was heavily damaged during the flooding in May 2014.
