Tennis-Troicki wins his second ATP career title in Sydney

SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki won the ATP tournament in Sydney, after crushing Kazakhstani Mikhail Kukushkin 6-2, 6-3 in the final on Saturday.

This is Troicki's second career title, after winning his first in Moscow in 2010, crowning his return to court after almost a whole-year break for violating anti-doping rules.

Troicki through to Sydney semi-final

SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki reached the semi-final of the ATP tournament in Sydney after scoring a win over Italy's Simone Bolelli 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 on Thursday.

Troicki notched the win after two hours and ten minutes of play.

He is next to take on the winner of the match between Bernard Tomic of Australia and Gilles Muller of Luxembourg.

Troicki gets off to winning start in Sydney

SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki reached the second round of the Sydney ATP tournament early Tuesday after beating Martin Klizan of Slovakia 6-2, 6-3 in just 48 minutes.

Troicki will next face Spain's Pablo Andujar, who beat Finland's Jarkko Nieminen 6-2, 6-2.

The prize money in Sydney is USD 439,405.

Traoicki in main draw for Sidney

SIDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki has qualified for the main draw of the ATP tournament in Sidney, after beating Italy's Stefano Travaglia 7-5 6-3 in the last round of the qualifications on Sunday.

He defeated Spain's Enrique Lopes-Peres 6-3 6-4 and Nicholas Harry from Chile 4-6 6-1 and 6-4 earlier.
