More than 100 Exhibitors and 1000 Wines Gather at the Balkan Festival in Front of the National Palace of Culture

More than 1000 wines per 100 exhibitors gather in this year's eighth edition of the Balkan International Wine Competition and Festival in front of the National Palace of Culture.

The exhibition is on June 5 th and in the traditional contest part will be chosen the elixirs produced on the Balkans, the BCCI organizers announced.

Record Number of Wineries Represent Bulgaria at Megavino Wine Fair in Brussels

A record number of wineries represents Bulgaria at this year's edition of the largest wine event in the Benelux - Megavino, which takes place in Brussels between October 23 and 26.

The 17th edition of the wine fair represents more than 1000 wines from 35 countries, with 30 000 visitors expected to attend it, daily Dnevnik informs.

Bulgaria’s Angelus Estate Wins 3 International Wine Challenge Awards

Bulgarian wine cellar Angelus Estate has won a golden and 2 silver awards at the prestigious International Wine Challenge in London.

The Stallion 2011 sort won the first gold trophy for Bulgaria at the IWC, while the White Stallion 2012 and Gold Stallion 2011 were ascribed silver trophies.
