Ethnic Albanians in Montenegro join Pristina's celebration

BELGRADE - The interruption of Wednesday's Euro 2016 qualifier match between Serbia and Albania, caused by a drone suspending a flag with signs of the so-called Greater Albania above the pitch, has been celebrated by ethnic Albanians in Ulcinj, Plav and Tuzi in Montenegro.

Podgorica-based website CDM posted an article, complemented with photos and footage, about ethnic Albanians in the three places going out in the streets to celebrate.

The video shows people holding up Albanian flags in cars, joining a celebration organized in Pristina late on Wednesday, where those gathered shouted "Albania, Albania" along with fireworks and music.

At the end of the first half of the match, a hovering drone appeared above the pitch bearing a flag with signs of the so-called ‘Greater Albania', which, according to unofficial sources, was remotely operated from the VIP lounge by Olsi Rama, brother to the Albanian prime minister.

Regional media quoted Belgrade press reports about the incident in great detail, revealing also all the details of the flag that the drone carried down to the pitch.

According to unofficial information, Rama flew to Tirana, following a shorter stay at a police station together with three more people who were with him at the football match, last night.
