Troicki ousted from Monte Carlo Masters

MONTE CARLO - Serbia's tennis player Viktor Troicki failed to reach the third round at the Monte Carlo Masters on Wednesday, after losing to John Isner of the U.S. 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5).

Serbia's second best player did not have a proper response to Isner's serve, and did not manage to make a single break.

Isner will next face third seed Rafael Nadal of Spain who defeated France's Lucas Pouille 6-2, 6-1.

The prize fund of the Monte Carlo Masters totals EUR 3,288,530.
