Romanian Birtok Baneasa wins gold medal at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions

Engineer Corneliu Birtok Baneasa won the gold medal of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva and the special mentions of the delegations of Iran and of the Republic of Moldova, for his "Good Fill" system to fill the cars with windshield washer fluid in the gas station.

The eco-friendly invention eliminates the need for plastic containers for fluid; it allows choosing among several types of solutions ? winter, summer, non-allergenic, scented, etc.

'The international jury appreciated the environmental impact of giving up PET plastic canisters currently used for windshield washer fluids. Many drivers throw away these plastic containers and do not recycle them, thus contributing to pollution,' the engineer told AGERPRES.

According to the inventor, his 'Good Fill' system is especially beneficial to companies that own large car fleets.

Birtok Baneasa mentioned the help of the Romanian Embassy to Switzerland and of the National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation, whom he thanked for the support to the Romanian delegation at the Geneva event.
