Winter Tires are Mandatory from Today in Bulgaria
As of November 15, drivers should have changed tires to be adapted to winter conditions or their tread to be over 4 mm.
It will also check whether the headlamps are set correctly and that the windscreen wipers are in good condition.
If there is anything wrong, the fine would be BGN 50.

''Winter'' Action on Bulgarian Roads Begins From Today
From November 1, the Traffic Police ''Winter'' Action begins in the whole country.
The action starts with inspections of cyclists and pedestrians, as well as the technical condition of cars for the winter season.
As of November 15, drivers should have changed tires to be adapted to winter conditions or their tread to be over 4 mm.
''Winter'' Action on Bulgarian Roads Begins
''Winter'' action begins from tomorrow despite the sunny weather. It is expected to announce the measures and control of the roadsahead in the winter months, reported bTV.
There will be mass control checks around the country.

Romanian Birtok Baneasa wins gold medal at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions
Engineer Corneliu Birtok Baneasa won the gold medal of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva and the special mentions of the delegations of Iran and of the Republic of Moldova, for his "Good Fill" system to fill the cars with windshield washer fluid in the gas station.

Romanian Birtok Baneasa unveils new eco-friendly brainchild at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions
Engineer Corneliu Birtok Baneasa is a member of the delegation that will represent Romania at this year's edition of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions (April 15 through 19), as the Deva-born inventor will seek the jury's nod for an equipment that selectively feeds windshield washer fluid to any vehicle type.
