Mogherini: Serbia has key role in region under pressure

BELGRADE - The EU looks forward to Serbia's accession, EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini said in the Serbian parliament Friday, highlighting Serbia's role as a key country in a delicate region under growing pressure.

"Not only is the door of the EU wide open for Serbia - we look forward to welcoming you inside our community. This is not a distant dream - this is a concrete process we are together working on," she said.
