Pristina seeks Haradinaj's release, suspension of dialogue

PRISTINA - The Kosovo assembly on Thursday passed a resolution seeking a suspension of the dialogue with Belgrade until an unconditional release of Ramus Haradinaj, a former "Kosovo Liberation Army" commander wanted by Serbia for war crimes committed in June 1999.

He was arrested in Basel on January 4 by French police on a Serbian warrant, but a court in Colmar, France, has provisionally released him pending a decision on a request to extradite him to Serbia, recently postponed for the second time until April 6.
