Sosa: Serbia on much more solid foundations

BELGRADE - Serbia is evidently on much more solid foundations than it was three years ago, and now it is very important to ensure consolidation and maintain the hard-earned results, as well as to make additional reform efforts to transform the country into a modern economy, says Sebastian Sosa, head of the International Monetary Fund mission to Serbia.

Ahead of the 25th Kopaonik Business Forum, Sosa told Tanjug the results of a recently completed three-year economic programme backed by the IMF had exceeded all expectations and that the achievements were impressive considering the difficult situation Serbia had been in in 2015.
