Slovenia grab second place in team jumps

Lahti – Slovenian ski jumpers Žiga Jelar, Cene Prevc, Timi Zajc and Peter Prevc took second place in the World Cup team event in on Saturday, finishing only 5.5 points behind the winners Austria and over twenty points ahead of third-placed Germany.

Slovenia took the lead in the second round of jumping and remained ahead until the final jump, when the Austrian Stefan Kraft managed a 130-metre jump to take Austria to second place.

Cene Prevc was the top performer on the Slovenian team with jumps of 124 and 130.5 metres.
