Vucic: Germany in brutal campaign for so-called Kosovo's CoE admission

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday the situation regarding the so-called Kosovo's potential admission to the Council of Europe (CoE) was uncertain but that Germany was in a "brutal campaign" for Pristina's membership in the organisation.

"They will have between 29 and 33 votes, and 31 is the majority they need, so it is all on the edge," Vucic said during a tour of the EXPO 2027 construction site in the Belgrade suburb of Surcin.

Serbia will continue to fight, but it is no match for Germany, France and others, he said.

They are using various tricks, even when it comes to the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities, Vucic added.
