Former Serbian basketball star Stojakovic inducted into FIBA Hall of Fame

MIES - Former Serbian basketball star Predrag Stojakovic has been inducted into the 2024 FIBA Hall of Fame.

In a statement, the Basketball Federation of Serbia said a ceremony for Stojakovic and other inductees would be held in Singapore in September.

"Stojakovic won the gold medal with Yugoslavia at the 2002 World Basketball Championship and the European title in Istanbul in 2001, when he was named MVP. In his club career with Sacramento and Dallas, he was one of the NBA League's best shooters for years and won the NBA championship ring with the Texas-based club in 2011. He is a three-time NBA All-Star player and a two-time winner of the three-point shooting competition," the statement said.
