Ukraine's ambassador: Putin using Serbia to destroy Europe

Ukrainian Ambassador to Belgrade Oleksandr Aleksandrovych says Russia is "using Serbia to create chaos and provoke a new war in the Balkans."

He also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin "does not care for Serbia" - but rather uses our country as "another instrument to destroy Europe."

Greece condemns NYC terror attack

Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos on Wednesday expressed condolences to his American counterpart Donald Trump over a suspected terrorist attack in New York City on Tuesday night that left eight people dead.

Balkan States Score Well in Doing Business Ranking

Six Balkan countries - Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria - have been ranked among the top 50 countries in the world in the Doing Business Report of the World Bank for 2018, released on Tuesday.

Macedonia is the highest performing Balkan economy, ranked in 11th place among 190 economies worldwide in terms of quality of its business regulations.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic says the Hague Tribunal (ICTY) has not been unbiased, and that Serbia "fared the worst."

Brnabic said she was referring to the overall convictions, and the number of those who died in the tribunal's custody.

Police tie suspect's DNA to bomb, find new hideout

Police said that they have matched the DNA of a 29-year-old man accused of sending several letter bombs to foreign and Greek targets to DNA found on remnants of a device that exploded in the hands of former prime minister Lucas Papademos in May and on similar devices intercepted by police at a Hellenic Post sorting center near Athens in March.

Trucks banned on auxiliary highways, forced onto toll roads

The Transport and Infrastructure Ministry has banned all trucks from using auxiliary highways and old national highway networks in a move it says is intended to increase safety and improve policing but which critics claim is aimed at raising revenues by forcing trucks to use toll roads.
