Syrian refugees hoping to cross the Turkish border into Greece or Bulgaria can leave, but neighboring countries are not taking them in, Turkey's Trade Minister Cenap A?ç? said on Sept. 19.

The prices of energy resources in all Balkan countries may drop if the national grids are connected, according to Damian Gjiknuri, President in Office of the Energy Community.

Organizers of the Belgrade's Pride Parade 2015 said they were satisfied with the "atmosphere" ahead of the gay march scheduled at noon on Sunday and they believe the event will be peaceful although Pride Parade has a turbulent history in Serbia.

Bulgaria said on Friday it has cracked down on a people trafficking ring smuggling migrants bound for Western Europe from Bulgaria into Serbia.

UNHCR has warned of a "buildup" of migrants and refugees in Serbia "as its neighbors tighten their borders to the influx," AP is reporting.

"The crisis is growing and being pushed from one country to another as roughly 4,000 migrants and refugees pour into Greece each day and head north," the UN refugee agency's Adrian Edwards has said.

Mild criticism of Croatia and Hungary was voiced in EU's seat on Friday over the closing of border crossings and prevention of migrants from asking for asylum.

Croatia is not closing its borders, but has reached its capacity and will redirect people to Slovenia and Hungary, Prime Minister Zoran Milanovi? has said.

Slovenia has meanwhile effectively closed its border with Croatia and is refusing to accept migrants.

"Shifting the ball of the difficult situation" caused by the refugee crisis only to Serbia's court is neither ethical nor natural, the president has said.

After more than 13,300 refugees from Syria and Iraq entered Croatia from Serbia on Wednesday and Thursday, Croatia temporarily closed the border with Serbia on Thursday night. The biggest border passing, Batrovci, is still open for traffic.

Serbia is building sincere and friendly relations with the United States, Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said at the close of his visit to the U.S.
