PRAGUE -- Ivana Spanovic broke her previous national record and won the gold medal in the women's long jump final at the European Athletics Indoor Championships (EAIC).
Spanovic jumped 6.98 meters.

KRALJEVO -- Serbia defeated Croatia 5-0 in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group played over the weekend in the town of Kraljevo.
Serbia was given its fifth win by Viktor Troicki, who on Sunday beat Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3.

Voltaj band to represent Romania in 2015 Eurovision song contest
The Voltaj band will represent Romania in the 2015 Eurovision contest with the song 'De la capat' (Over Again), after winning the national selection on Sunday night in Craiova (west of Bucharest).

Voltaj got 24 points, with the specialized jury and public vote weighing 50 percent each.
4.7-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Serbia
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale hit a region of Serbia located 90km southwest of Belgrade.
According to reports of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, as cited by the BGNES news agency, the earthquake struck at 9.47 pm local time.
The depth of the earthquake was initially estimated at 2km and the epicenter was 21km south of Valjevo.

KRALJEVO - Serbia stormed past Croatia in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group, claiming a 5-0 whitewash and its place in the quarterfinals, on Sunday.
Serbia was given its fifth win in the tie by Viktor Troicki, who beat Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3.
It took the Serb a little less than an hour to outplay the world number 158.
Ivanovic loses to Garcia in Monterrey semifinals
MONTERREY- Ana Ivanovic's hopes of defending the title won at the WTA tournament in Monterrey were dashed by France's Caroline Garcia, who beat her 6-1, 6-4 in the semifinals on Sunday morning CET.
It took the Frenchwoman only 55 minutes to defeat Serbia's best female tennis player.
