Hilton starts building Belgrade hotel

Serbia's capital is now "among the best cities of the world," Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday.

This remark came after the laying of the foundation stone for a Hilton hotel in Belgrade, Tanjug reported.

Dacic "yet to discuss post-election coalition" with Vucic

Socialist Party (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic says he has not yet discussed a post-election coalition with SNS leader Aleksandar Vucic.

However, he added that he "saw no other alliance of political parties that would be more useful to Serbia."

Kosovo Office head urges high turnout in April 24 elections

Director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said on Sunday that Serbia is "with its citizens in Kosovo."

He urged them "not to worry, and turn out and vote in as great a number as possible and show Serb unity in the April 24 elections."

Abel Kibet Rop, Stella Barsosio win 29th Belgrade Marathon

BELGRADE - Kenya's Abel Kibet Rop and Stella Barsosio triumphed in the men's and women's marathon races at the 2016 Belgrade Marathon on Saturday.

Rop's time was two hours and 24 minutes, and his countryman Moses Kipruto Kibire joined him as second nearly five minutes later (2:28:50), while Hungary's Tamas Nagy finished third in 2:36:20.

Bulgarian Authorities Detain 39 Migrants, Five Smugglers Near Border with Serbia

Bulgarian border police officers detained on Wednesday a total of 39 illegal migrants in the area of responsibility of the border police department in Kalotina.

The authorities also detained five Bulgarian citizens who were driving the vehicles in which the foreigners were transported.

Last fugitive in case of murder of French fan extradited
