Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova is travelling to Moscow to discuss the forthcoming steps concerning the fulfillment of the decision of the Arbitration Court on the Belene nuclear power plant.

In June, Bulgaria was sentenced to pay EUR 620 M for equipment ordered from Russia. The daily interest is EUR 167,000.

The Bulgarian Parliament will vote at second reading on Wednesday for the approval of the loan which the state will grant for the equipment for the Belene nuclear power plant, ordered from Russia 8 years ago.

Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov has discussed several bi-lateral issues, including those in the energy field, in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin requested by the Bulgarian side.
