Social media campaign stirring Prespes deal opposition at Greek schools
An anonymous social media drive mobilizing middle and high school students to oppose Greece's name deal with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is expected to culminate with protest rallies and school gatherings on Thursday.
Students at a few dozen high schools have already held sit-ins and marches.

Greek man shot dead by Albanian police in incident over flag
The killing has caused a strong reaction from Athens.
According to Albanian media, the victim, Konstantinos Katsifas, a 35-yer-old, shot from a Kalashnikov (AK-47) rifle at Albanian police officers who were removing the flag.

Judges deny blame for delays in GD trial
The Greek Union of Judges and Prosecutors hit back on Friday at suggestions the court system is to blame for delays in the ongoing trial of the extreme-right Golden Dawn party.
In a statement, the union cited a shortage of space.
"The court meets 10 times a month because there is no special room to conduct the procedure on a more regular basis," it said.

Silence is killing Fyssas all over again
A few days ago, a photograph was published on some social media sites of Magda Fyssa sitting in a court room. She is the mother of the 34-year-old rapper Pavlos Fyssas who was killed by a member of the neofascist Golden Dawn party on September 18, 2013 in the western Athens district of Keratsini.

Police chiefs are bracing for upheaval over the next few days ahead of the fifth anniversary of the killing of the 34-year-old rapper Pavlos Fyssas by a member of the neofascist Golden Dawn party.
Golden Dawn supporters stage anti-mosque rally
Hundreds of extreme-right Golden Dawn party supporters protested the construction of a state-funded mosque - the capital's first - at a rally in Athens Thursday.
No arrests were reported during the demonstration which was held at the construction site of the mosque near central Athens.

Golden Dawn protests Athens mosque plans
Several hundred supporters of Greece's extreme right Golden Dawn party staged a protest near central Athens on Wednesday evening against plans to build a state-funded mosque in the Greek capital.
Authorities used riot police buses to block roads near the construction site during the rally, which ended with no reported arrests.
