Soldier dies after fall from rocks
A captain who fell from a rocky area on a mountain while taking part in land search efforts in the southern province of Hatay on May 9 has died.
Gendarmerie Captain R?za F?rat, 31, was heavily wounded when he fell from the rocks in the Nur Mountains and was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Seven killed in fire in Turkey's southeast
Seven people were killed in a fire that broke out in a hut in the southeastern province of Gaziantep early May 6. Six siblings, aged between two and 15 and their 70-year-old father, Mehmet Emin Bak?r, were killed in the fire that broke out around 3:30 a.m. The children's 56-year-old mother, Naciye Bak?r, survived.
