Sofia. Three Bulgarian pupils injured as a result of the explosion on the motorway near the Bologna airport remain in hospital, Bulgarian Consul General in Milan Rossen Roufev told bTV this morning. Seven pupils from a school in Silistra were injured as a tanker truck exploded in Bologna.

Sofia. Three people died and 10 others were injured in traffic accidents in the country in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior said. A total of 11 serious road accidents occurred across the country. In Sofia, there were 25 light accidents with no injuries.

Burgas. A record number of international participants have registered for the fourth edition of the Burgas Skate Open, said the Municipality of Burgas. Skaters from Romania, Serbia, Argentina, Cuba, Hungary, Israel and Belarus will attend the event on 17 August.

Dobrich. For the first time, an international team of archaeologists is investigating the Zaldapa fortress near the village of Krushari, the Focus Radio correspondent has reported. This year is the fifth season of archaeological exploration in Zaldapa, the largest fortified ancient centre in today's Dobrudzha, team leader Prof. Georgi Atanasov said.

Athens. In an effort to show that the message from last week's deadly fire in east Attica has been received, the Greek government announced on Tuesday it plans to demolish 3,185 illegal constructions, built in forrests and along the coastline of Attica.

The trade with Austria amounts to 1.2 billion euros, which makes Austria a leading foreign investor in Bulgaria. This is what President Rumen Radev said during a press conference after meeting the Austrian President, Alexander van der Belen, ''FOCUS'' News Agency reported.

Rainfall is unlikely, though. There will be moderate to strong wind from west-northwest. Day temperatures will increase, with maximum ones ranging between 5°C and 10°C, in Sofia around 5°C.

It will be mostly sunny before noon today, while later in the day the clouds will again increase from northwest.

There will be light south-southwestern wind and temperatures will rise. Maximum temperatures will range between 3°C and 8°C, a little higher in the southeastern regions, in Sofia around 3°C.
