New Parliamentary Coalition Forged in Bosnia
Izetbegovic's Party of Democratic Action, SDA, the main Bosniak party, and Komsic's Democratic Front, DF, which came second in the Federation entity in last month's polls, signed an agreement on a future coalition on Sunday with the Alliance for Changes, the opposition bloc from Republika Srpska, the country's Serb-dominated entity.

EP official critical of "Dayton Bosnia"
SARAJEVO -- "The national policy in Bosnia-Herzegovina no longer has the credit it used to," says Tonino Picula, a member of the European parliament from Croatia.
Picula told the Sarajevo-based daily Dnevni Avaz that Bosnia should "as soon as possible move from Dayton to Brussels."

SDA and SNSD strongest parties in parliaments
SARAJEVO - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) won most votes in the elections for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), the BiH Central Electoral Commission released on Monday.

Bosnia Votes for Parliament, President amid Rising Tensions
Voters in Bosnia-Herzegovina are heading to the polls on Sunday in a period of growing social tensions, ethnic disputes and corruption thwarting any EU accession effort.
Nearly 3.3 million are eligible to vote as the country has to elect the three-member Presidency (consisting of a Croat, Muslim and Serb representatives) and the lawmakers to form a new national legislature.

RS leader supports "third, Croat entity" in Bosnia
ZAGREB -- Serb Republic (Republika Srpska, RS) President Milorad Dodik has said that Bosnia-Herzegovina "has no future except as a loose confederation."
Dodik also spoke in favor of the creation of a third, Croat entity in that country, noting that "Herzeg-Bosnia used to exist."

Serbs in Bosnia "closely watching" Scottish referendum
Bosnian Serbs are "closely watching Scotland's independence referendum," the French agency AFP is reporting on Monday.
According to this, they are hoping that if Scots vote to break away from Britain "it would set a precedent that could boost their own chances of proclaiming a separate state."
