Turkey's presidential spokesman said Ankara's foreign policy strategy brought balance to the Libyan conflict through a cease-fire, which became possible thanks to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's efforts.

Turkey has urged all the parties to refrain from throwing the already unstable Middle East, particularly Iraq, into a fresh ring of fire and underlined that it will work with Russia to defuse the regional tension after Iran's strike against U.S. bases in Iraq.

Today, the Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the commissioning of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. The event will be hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, RIA Novosti reported.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Oct. 19 praised the high-level cooperation between Turkey and Africa in various fields.

Russian President Vladimir Putin invited Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Russia during a telephone conversation, the Kremlin's press service reported, quoted by RIA Novosti.

"Putin invited Erdogan to a working visit to Russia in the coming days. The invitation was accepted," the statement said.

Ankara sees Serbia as key to the region:

A decade ago, in 2008, the annual trade volume between Serbia and Turkey was worth only about 340 million US dollars.

Turkey plans to welcome 75 million tourists in 2023, turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

"We will continue to work to increase our country's share in the world tourism. Our goal is to welcome 75 million tourists in 2023, " the Turkish head of state wrote in a tweet on the occasion of International Tourism Day, which is celebrated on September 27th.
